About Our Team:
Our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services in Western Australia offer support, advice and treatment to children and adolescents from birth to 18 years who are experiencing mental health challenges.
About the Role:
As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide comprehensive and evidence-based nursing care to patients as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will deliver individualized care using a problem-orientated approach, and act as an advocate for patients, consumers, and other members of the health care team to achieve health goals.
As a Clinical Nurse, you will coordinate team activities, supervise, and act as a resource for nursing staff in the assessment of patients, and development and implementation of care plans.
What you will bring:
- Preferably 3 or more years of experience as a Registered Mental Health Nurse, applicants with differing work and lived experience may also be considered
- Experience working with children and adolescents is also preferred
- Demonstrated ability to supervise others, and provide clinical knowledge to enable staff in delivering quality patient care
- A keen interest to upskill your clinical and leadership skills
Registration as a Registered Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia is required.
