The Hotel
Our hotel is a historic venue located in the stunning town of Yallingup which has undergone a spectacular transformation in the past decade. From an under the radar beach settlement with a dedicated surfing community to a destination that is now attracting worldwide attention, Yallingup truly is special place. Surrounded by national parks and ancient cave systems, our hotel is the much-loved beating heart of the iconic village that overlooks the world class surfing beach.
Reporting to the Executive Chef, your duties will include:
- Prepare and serve buffet breakfast five mornings per week for up to 75 in house guests
- Prepare mise-en-place, cutting, de-boning, filleting and the cooking of stocks and sauces as required by the Senior Chef on duty
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen and maintaining a high standard of service.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Must hold relevant culinary qualifications or equivalent experience
- Must be reliable and available to work five AM shifts per week including weekend work
- Must be a team player and willing and able to work with others
- Must have strong communications skills and work well under pressure
- Knowledge of OH&S and food hygiene standards
- Positive Attitude & Passion for food
Casual and part-time position will also be considered for the right candidate.
