Full-time Indian Cook position available at our Indian Restaurant which is located in the Sylvania, NSW. The job applicant must have minimum of 1 year of full time work experience in Indian cuisine preferred in Australia along with right qualification . Visa sponsorship available for the suitable candidate at an award wage package of $75,000-$80,000 (depending on experience).
Indian Cook- KEY TASKS
- Examining foodstuffs to ensure quality
- Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment
- Preparing and cooking food
- Seasoning food during cooking
- Portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes
- Storing food in temperature controlled facilities
- Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements
- May plan menus and estimate food requirements
- May train other kitchen staff and apprentices
Qualifications/Experience required: Cert IV in Commercial Cookery or Hospitality plus 1 year of full time full time experience.
