Our company is specializing in process-driven international recruitment, migration assistance, and relocation services. With over 30 years of experience in servicing the resources industry in WA, we are currently seeking a Mine Surveyor for one of our valued clients in Western Australia.
About the Role
The Mine Surveyor will report to the Senior Mine Surveyor and play a crucial role in supporting both underground and surface mining operations. Responsibilities include surveying designed drill holes, completed works, and issuing accurate survey plans efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee survey mark-out of drill and blast rings and mine heading development
- Conduct exploration and raise bore drilling surveys
- Survey control for all mining activities, including: horizontal and vertical development, end-of-month surveys, dig permits, emergency response plans
- Survey completed works, including: end-of-month development and ore stockpiles, stope surveys, geological mapping, miscellaneous site and surface surveys as required
- Conduct surveys and mapping of mining sites, pits, and infrastructure
- Prepare detailed survey reports and technical drawings
- Ensure compliance with all relevant mining and surveying regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support mining projects
- Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Surveying
- At least 3 years of experience as a Mine Surveyor within the mining sector (underground experience desirable)
- Experience with Deswik CAD and narrow vein mining operations (highly desirable).
- In-depth knowledge of surveying techniques, equipment, and software
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Effective team player with a collaborative approach
- High attention to detail and a dedication to precision

- Proof of Work Experience for the last 4 years (Employment Contract, Letter from the Employer confirming the role, duration, salary, and job duties and responsibilities – must be in a company letterhead)
- Proof of Salary Payment (Payslips, Bank Statements, Tax Records)
- Proof of English language proficiency: Minimum score of 5.5 in IELTS (International English Language Testing System) or 36 in PTE (Pearson Test of English Academic)
- Police Clearance Certificate
- Copy of your Passport
- High School or Tertiary Qualification documents
