We are currently looking for a Panel Beater with spray painter skills to join our team.
To be considered for either position you will need to be trade qualified and have previous at least 2 years' experience working in the similar position.
We are looking for people who are reliable and competent, who are capable of working unsupervised and in a team environment.
Job Responsibilities
Removing and replacing damaged panels.
Repairing damaged panels as required with tools and body filler.
Filing, grinding and sanding surfaces.
Fitting new or repaired panels
Preparation of vehicles
Color matching.
Operating the spray booth
Applying primers and water-based paint.
Buffing
This is a full-time position working Mon - Fri 8 am - 5 pm
A remuneration package of $70,000 be offered to the successful candidate with option to raise.

Qualifications & experience
- Trade Qualified Light Vehicle Motor Mechanics with at least 1 to 2 years of Automotive experience post apprenticeship. With current driver's license Customer-service focused, with positive attitude and work ethic
- Ability to work unsupervised Planning each job for maximum efficiency Making recommendations for additional work to client vehicle based on diagnostics Available to work Monday-Friday plus some Saturday mornings
Tasks & responsibilities
- Responsible for the service, repair, and maintenance of a range of used and new vehicles Trouble shoot and diagnose issues on vehicles Provide the highest level of workmanship on all vehicles Opportunities to keep up to date with brand products and tooling through our extensive network of suppliers
- Adhere to correct procedures when performing warranty works Maintain workshop tools and equipment Complete all required paperwork with all details of works carried out Adhere to workplace health and safety policies and procedure
