About the role:
The venue is a favourite for locals and visitors, a popular place for a plate of freshly shucked oysters and watching the pelicans on the deck.
Working within our kitchen team you will report directly to the Head Chef and be responsible for delivering a high level of productivity, amazing experiences for our guests and a product that exceeds expectation. We are looking for a hard-working, passionate chef/cook to assist us full time.
About You:
- Trade qualification or equivalent (Cert III in Commercial Cookery)
- Dedication to the production, preparation and presentation of dishes of the highest quality
- Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision
- Team player attitude and willingness to work within a large, diverse team
- Commitment and passion for high-end service always ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Adhere to strict stock rotation and minimum wastage guidelines
- Ability to maintain a clean, hygienic and safe working environment
- Want to grow and progress within the industry
