Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Partners and Managers to ensure high-quality client deliverables
- Lead and execute audit engagements, managing all phases from planning to completion
- Communicate directly with clients to coordinate fieldwork and finalize financial statements
- Oversee invoicing, billing, and work-in-progress for your client portfolio
- Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, especially on larger engagements
- Travel to client sites around Australia as needed
- Participate in internal and external training sessions
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (BCom or BBus)
- Minimum of 2.5 years of audit experience in an Australian accounting firm/ global accounting firm.
- CA or CPA qualified, or close to completion
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build long-term client relationships
- Knowledge of Australian Accounting and Auditing standards
- Able to work independently and within a team to manage audit processes
