The Position
Experiencing a period of growth our client is seeking a Specialist Paediatrician, offering flexible working conditions - full-time, part-time, permanent and fixed term contract options. You will promote patient quality and safety whilst providing leadership, training, supervision, and education.

The Facility
Our hospital has a 10 inpatient beds on the Children's Ward, 4 day surgery beds in the paediatric ward and 4 Special Care Nursery beds. There are approximately 600 births per year. Undergoing a $250 million redevelopment with state of the art facilities and enhanced health services to the local town and surrounding communities, it is scheduled for completion in 2025.
The Requirements
- Hold unconditional registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Paediatrician.
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience in Paediatrics
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team.
- Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement.
- Availability to participate in an on-call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable time.
