Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for conducting geotechnical investigations, analyzing data, and providing expert recommendations to support our clients' projects.
Project Focus:
Our projects encompass a wide range of endeavors, including tailings and waste storage facilities, water management structures, water dams, and mine infrastructure projects. From green field studies to closure, our professionals engage in every phase of the project cycle, offering unparalleled opportunities for growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our global team of esteemed tailings engineers.
- Assume a technical role specializing in tailings management design, dam design, and mining geo-structures.
- Drive successful project outcomes through meticulous planning, control, and direction.
- Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and risk assessments.
- Foster client relationships and cultivate new business opportunities.
- Contribute to our vibrant team of dedicated professionals committed to excellence.
- Travel to project sites across Australia and internationally
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in geotechnical engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or eligibility for licensure.
- Minimum 5 years of geotechnical engineering experience with a proven project track record.
- Proficiency in geotechnical analysis software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at collaboration.
- Experience across transportation, infrastructure, mining, and energy sectors preferred.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations
