Our bakery is a small artisan bakery based in Noosaville. We are a busy wholesale bakery using artisan skills, hard work and the best local produce to stock cafes, restaurants, markets, our own 2 retail bakeries and other shops on the Sunshine Coast.
We are seeking a Baker to join our team.
About the role:
The right candidate:
- will have a good eye for detail and presentation of product
- be able to follow systems and procedures
- be willing to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
- must be willing to work the oven, midnight starts 2 nights per week.
- must have experience in bread and croissant making.
- must have knowledge of food handling and hygiene.
- must be willing to start at midnight & weekend shifts.
- must have good communication skills & work within a team.
- strictly adhere to food safety regulations.
Essential requirements:
- Certificate III in Retail Baking
- A great attitude;
- Proven experience in similar roles;
- Ability to work flexible hours;
- Strong product knowledge, including artisan sourdough, croissants and pastries;
- Proven track record;
- Career minded; and,
- Current Food Safety Certificate.
