Our company is in the supply of Steel and Industrial/Engineering and related products and services. They stock a huge range of steel products including structural, pipe, RHS & SHS, merchant bar, plate & sheet, builder's mesh and concrete reinforcing and accessories. We are looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join a busy team based in Sydney
The Role
- Mig welding
- Manual arc welding
- Fabrication of steel products from scratch
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and as part of a team
- Ability to read drawings and produce fabrication from detailed structural drawings
- A pressure ticket to weld up steel pipe work would be a bonus.
- Proficient in English
The Ideal Candidate
Proven experience as well as trade qualifications as a welder or fabricator are essential. You must possess at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. Excellent communication skills are essential.
While local candidates will be given priority, outstanding international candidates may also be considered for employment with 457/TSS visa sponsorship.
The company is looking for individuals who are interested in a challenging role that requires flexibility, good communication skills, high sense of responsibility, and strong motivation to deliver quality work.
Annual income for standard 38-hour week, excluding superannuation, ranges from $70,000 - $85,000 per annum commensurate with industry rates, skills, and experience.
