Our company is looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Cook to join the team. This successful applicant will add their value, expertise, and energy to the overall experience.
The successful applicant will drive the business with their tasteful flair and generate an exciting buzz to lift the dining experience and cater to appeal to our current members whilst working towards growing a wider market to attract new business.
The Successful Applicant
Main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, presentation, and satisfaction for our products and offers;
- Work closely with Managers to create, implement, and deliver a top-class dining experience that can compete with the growing market within the area;
- Be involved with cost control through effective practices manage and monitor financial budgets, food, wage costs and other expenses;
- Provide exceptional food offers that are of high quality;
- Create a harmonious and energetic working environment for all team members;
- Maintain flexible working hours to meet the needs of the business, including regular dining, functions, and events;
- Have a positive, can-do attitude with a very hands on approach;
- Ensuring that dishes are prepared with an understanding of allergies and special dietary needs like gluten-free or vegan options;
- Implementing standard operating procedures to ensure that every dish served is consistent in taste, presentation, and portion size.
Qualifications:
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (minimum);
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (Food Authority NSW);
- Previous experience in a similar role;
- Strong knowledge of HACCP;
- Availability to work on a rotating roster including nights and weekends;
- Sponsorship Visa is available for the right candidate.
