We are a renowned steakhouse with four popular locations in Western Sydney, We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our team.

· Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee the kitchen operations during busy service times to ensure dishes are prepared timely and exceed guest expectations.
· Select and cook various cuts of steak and ribs to perfection, and prepare contemporary sauces and condiments.
· Plan and execute menus, manage food inventory, and maintain cost control.
· Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
· Ensure adherence to workplace health and food safety standards.
· Collaborate effectively with chefs, cooks, and floor staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
· Create and manage staff rosters and maintain strict percentages for wages and cost of goods.
What We’re Looking For:
· Experience: At least 2 years as a Sous Chef or in a similar high-volume establishment, with hands-on experience in steak and ribs.
· Skills: Strong culinary presentation, plating skills, and knowledge of various meat cuts. Experience with pastas and pan work is a plus but not essential.
· Leadership: Proven ability to lead and build effective teams, with a focus on positive culture and mentorship.
· Qualifications: Trade Cooking qualifications and a comprehensive understanding of culinary techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
