Our client, a leading Australian coach company, is seeking up to 3 experienced Bus and Coach Mechanics to join their modern workshop in Caloundra, QLD. They are a long-established, award-winning company that prioritizes safety and invests in employee training and development.
The Role
This is a permanent position for a skilled Diesel Mechanic. You’ll handle preventative maintenance, repairs, and scheduling for buses and coaches. Since this is a standalone role, you must work independently while collaborating with the team when required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 3 years’ post-trade experience in diesel mechanics.
- Proven ability in troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Experience with Mercedes, Volvo, Scania, Iveco, or UD vehicles (preferred).
- HR License and strong communication skills are advantageous.

For international candidates, 482 Visa Sponsorship is available if you hold a recognized trade qualification (e.g., Red Seal, City & Guilds) and meet Australian immigration requirements, such as an IELTS test score of 5.0.

Essential Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ post-trade experience as a Bus Diesel Mechanic
- Relevant trade certification in mechanics
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Mercedes, Volvo, Scania, Iveco, or UD buses/coaches (preferred)
- Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems
- HR License (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
