Reporting to the Senior Parts Sales Supervisor, the Parts Expeditor is accountable for expediting parts from Caterpillar that are outside our standard stock orders, managing our parts orders, and addressing supply constraints.
Vital aspects of this role include end-to-end customer service provision, compliance with procedures, recording lost sales, and identifying areas for process improvement. This includes liaising with all key stakeholders both internally and externally utilising systems to deliver a great customer experience.
Location: South Guildford, WA
Roster: Working a monthly roster pattern consisting of 3 weeks Monday-Friday 8.5-hour days, one week Monday-Thursday 10.5-hour days
To be successful the following is required:
- Experience in parts sales and customer/retail service specifically in the Heavy Equipment Industry is desirable
- Strong analytical skills with numerical aptitude
- Computer literacy including Microsoft suite
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and time management abilities
- Effective team player and independent worker
- Proven planning and organisational skills
