Our Bar & Kitchen is part of a family-owned business, operating hotels for over 40 years.
We are looking to hire full time chefs/cooks to help us continue to grow our business, through creating unforgettable experiences.
As a chef/cook, your key duties include:
- Prepare and serve meals at a consistently high standard
- Ensure safe food handling practices are followed at all times
- Ensure kitchen hygiene is of the highest level at all times
- Consider customer feedback and trends and suggest new menu items or specials
- Assist in guiding or training others of a lower level
To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate:
- Certificate III Commercial Cookery
- Experience in a la carte and function service (minimum 1 year preferred)
- Availability across a 7-day roster
- Customer first attitude
- Commitment to food safety, hygiene and work health & safety.
