We are currently recruiting for qualified Clinical Nurse Specialists with a background in acute mental health who are looking for an exciting career opportunity in the South West region of Western Australia.

Position Profile: Responsible for providing a timely and specialised clinical mental health nursing consultancy service to the Emergency Department and other areas of Bunbury Regional Hospital. The prime directive of this post is to triage and conduct primary assessments of all patients presenting to the Emergency Department and who may be considered either at risk or as requiring specialised mental health assessment. Priorities include consultation services to clinicians (medical and nursing), providing assistance and information to carers and liaising with relevant others as required in all areas of the hospital.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Significant, relevant clinical and managerial experience in the provision of Mental Health Services in an acute adult mental health setting.
Demonstrated advanced skills in the nursing management of complex psychiatric presentations, risk assessment, crisis intervention and management of aggression in a clinical setting.
Demonstrated advanced written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
