Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the skilled and qualified Plant Mechanic will be responsible for assisting with the busy workload in our HCON (Heavy Construction Equipment Division) to meet the required deadlines and schedules. As a Plant Mechanic you will work on Caterpillar heavy earthmoving equipment, performing a variety of tasks. These can include assembly or reassembly of components, dealer provided option installations, maintenance and build ups to customers specification ensuring optimum safety and efficiency throughout the entire build.
Location: Perth Airport – HCON Workshop
Rosters: 5 days on, 2 days off (Monday to Friday) 10 hours each day, 2 weeks of days and 1 week of nights for a great work-life balance - no FIFO required! Nights will be paid at night shift rate.
To be successful the following is required:
- Australian-recognised Heavy Vehicle or Mobile Plant Trade Certificate
- Previous experience working on heavy earthmoving equipment an advantage
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
- Be well aligned with and exhibit our core values of Safety, Pride, Accountability, Respect and Customer
- Experienced LV Mechanics will be considered.
