● Regular communication with clients (private individuals and contactors), our teams and colleagues throughout the installation process to ensure they run smoothly.
● Troubleshooting issues while works are live on site and escalating these to senior management and/or the surveyor where required.
● Maintaining schedules for our internal and external installation teams using Microsoft Excel.
● Negotiating prices with external teams to complete installation works in order to protect margins.
● Providing paperwork for the installation teams, including the site drawings and sign-off sheets.
● Raising and managing warranty claims found during installation works or subsequently reported by clients using bespoke company software.
● Approving invoices for our fitters, contractors and any ‘non-standard works’.
● Attending weekly meetings with management to update them on all current, recent and upcoming projects.
Skills
● Strong Interpersonal Skills: Regular interactions with clients, including Apple Inc. and Ford Motor Company, in person and also via phone, email and video conferencing.
● Organised: Effective organisation of the upcoming Apple Fixture Maintenance and Lomax + Wood installations in order to meet strict deadlines, while also being able to administer a heavy workload and prioritise tasks using my own initiative and in a team environment.
● Punctual: Effective time management ensuring that Clients, Subcontractors and Retailers are provided with all required information/guidance ahead of the commencing of the project.
● IT Literate: Proficient using a number of different computing tools from my previous studies and various working roles; examples being:
● Excel: Used MS Excel to track the progress of all upcoming Lomax + Wood Installations and Warranties and to present data to the Market Representation Team at monthly review meetings at Ford Motor Company.
● Word: Created health & safety paperwork for installation teams at Lomax + Wood.
● PowerPoint: Used MS PowerPoint to create Candidate Reviews for new FordStores and sign-off reports for Apple Inc.
● Troubleshooting: Able to quickly assist our installation teams at Lomax + Wood with issues that occur during live visits.
● Full UK Driving Licence, which I will change to an Australian licence when required, & own car.
About
I have over seven years of project-based experience in the UK, including having worked on major projects for Apple Inc, Ford Motor Company and most recently at Lomax + Wood Limited. My skillset also includes strong organisational skills & an attention to detail, through paid and voluntary roles, as well as excellent written & verbal communication and strong people management skills. I am currently in Australia on a Working Holiday Visa, having moved from the UK in September 2024, but I have intentions to apply for Permanent Residency in the near future.
