Job Summary: Zimplats is a mining and minerals processing company ,we mine platinum fro extraction in the underground mine to the processing of the mineral ,Zimplats is highly mechanised mining operation ,we used Drill rigs and bolter rigs and we also have Automatic dump trucks so my Duties are to so supply power to the underground for the smooth running of the operations ,provide lightning, Submersible pumps , ventillation fans l also do repairs on the above mentioned equipment.

I have 21 years of experience in the Electrical Field .l have worked 19 years in the mining industry ,doing preventive maintenance and repairs of jaw crushers ,apron feeders, conveyor belts,ballmills,hydrocone crushers ,vibro feeders, floatation plants , smelting plant , refining plant,ventillation fans , dewatering pumps , lightning and providing power points for Drill rigs and Bolter rigs.The other two years l worked for Textile industry were l did maintenance and repairs of weaving machins , knitting machines , textile washing machines ,stentering machine ,curing machind dyeing machine and fire tube boilers
