Boilermaker apprentice trained from August 2011 up to August 2015 at Zimbabwe Power Company, Hwange Thermal Power Station. Serviced and repaired 110 Megawatt and 220 Megawatt boilers. Attended to breakdowns. Performed gas cutting, MIG, TIG, MMA welding and general steel fabrication. Maintained and repaired chutes, conveyor structures and idler frames. Performed stainless steel fabrication and welding at the water treatment plant.

I then worked for GEC Zimbabwe from August 2015 up to December 2016 as artisan boilermaker. I carried out boiler maintenance and repairs in according to SAZ and Manufacturer standards. Carried out economizer, furnace wall, cage wall, primary super and secondary super heater repairs, boiler drum safety valve installations, boiler bottom and top nose repairs. Carried out gas cutting TIG welding and MMA welding for various fabrication works. Repaired screens for reclaim hoppers. Carried out chute maintenance and repairs.

Worked for Technosphere Energy Services from January 2017 up to November 2019. Carried out boiler repairs and maintenance. Installed 220Megawatt boiler economiser. Performed plant checks and feedbacked to the supervisor. Performed gas cutting, TIG and MMA welding for various metal components. Trained artisan assistants on power tools handling and safety. Presented on SHEQ stand downs on safety, health and quality.

Worked for SIPITI engineering as artisan pipe fitter from August 2021 up to April 2022. Installed 910mm, 45km pipeline for Hwange Power Station expansion project (unit 7 and 8). Carried out gas cutting, grinding, rigging of pipe pieces , fabrication of lobster backbends leveling of trenches to suit pipe manipulations. Ensured that all pipes were fitted correctly maintaining the required gap for root weld. Performed visual inspection of welded joint to ensure quality before X-ray and other NDT testing methods.

Worked for ZPC Hwange Power Station as artisan boilermaker from February 2024 up July 2024. Carried pipework repairs , for steam and boiler feedwater. Installed valves and flanges. Carried out removal of old boiler feed pumps and installation of new ones. Carried out removal of old and installation of new air heaters for 110Megawatt boiler. Carried our Induced Draught fan repairs on casing, center plate, vanes and blades. Carried out gas cutting and MMA welding.

Currently, I am working for Zimbabwe Platinum Mines at Bimha (portal 4) as artisan boilermaker from August 2024 up to date. I do plant checks, chute repairs and general steel fabrication and welding.

I did my national craft certificate in fabrication and welding engineering at Bulawayo Polytechnic College in the year 2012. I did my L3 City&Guilds in plant, maintenance and commissioning in the year 2019. I attained L4 City&Guilds Mechanical Engineering at Bulawayo Polytechnic College in the year 2020
