Our team seeks a vehicle painter that will be able to sign off on the final colour, including minor colour adjustments to deliver a high-quality paint finish for the customer. Complete paint jobs in accordance with processes and procedures.
- Maintain spray booths and equipment
- Prepare automotive surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, filling, and priming.
- Apply high-quality paint finishes using modern spray-painting equipment to restore or enhance vehicles.
- Perform precise color matching to achieve factory-quality results.
- Inspect vehicles post-paint to ensure compliance with quality standards and client expectations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are in optimal condition.
- Follow workplace health and safety regulations to create a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Experience: A minimum of five years as an Automotive Spray Painter in a repair or production environment.
- Skills:
- Expertise in surface preparation, color matching, and application techniques.
- Familiarity with various paint systems and application tools.
- Qualifications: A trade certificate in spray painting or automotive refinishing is highly desirable.
- Work Ethic: Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Teamwork: A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work independently when required.
