Due to continuous Growth, Our Machine shop team is seeking NDT Technicians to join our team.
About this Role:
Reporting to the Flexi Parts Supervisor, NDT Technician tasks will involve Non Destructive Testing (NDT) using various methods to test trackframe components such as bogies, cannons and trackframes also NDT of radiator parts. We are seeking for a confident, self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail. As a NDT Technician, you will have a key focus on safety with an ability to prioritise workload effectively and strive for customer satisfaction. Knowledge about CAT products would be an advantage but not necessary.
Location: Flexi Parts, Perth Airport, W.A
Roster: 5 Days ON 2 Days OFF, Shift Roster (10.50 hours per day) with optional 4:3 roster
To be successful the following is required:
- Australian recognised AINDT / PCN / ISO 9712 Level 2 certification in MT, PT & UT is essential for this role
- A positive attitude with aligned core our SPARC values of safety, Pride, Accountability, Respect and Customer.
- Use of safety and risk assessment tools such as Job Safety Analysis and Take 5's
- Experience in reading engineering drawings
- Forklift, rigging and dogging licenses are advantageous or willing to obtain
- Strong time management skill
- Basic computer skills
