About the role
Our company is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Full Time Speech Pathologist. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive speech therapy and leaf-based treatments to our diverse client base. With a focus on delivering exceptional patient care, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of each individual. Whether you're working with children, adults, or the elderly, your expertise and dedication will be essential in helping our patients achieve their communication and swallowing goals.
What you'll be doing
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualised treatment plans
- Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions focused on improving speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on speech and language disorders, as well as techniques and strategies to support ongoing progress
- Maintain detailed patient records and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organisational standards
- Actively participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in speech therapy and leaf-based treatments
What we're looking for
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology or a related field
- Registered with SPA or eligible for registration as a Speech Pathologist
- Demonstrated experience in providing speech and language therapy services to a diverse range of patients, including children, adults, and the elderly
- Proficiency in conducting comprehensive assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering effective therapy interventions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team
- Excellent clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills to provide tailored, evidence-based treatments
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for staying current with the latest advancements in the field
