Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the Leading Hand in the Component Cleaning Area is responsible for overseeing the cleaning and preparation of components for assembly and repair. This role involves leading a team to ensure that all components are cleaned to the highest standards, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, and meeting production deadlines.
Location: Guildford
Roster: Monday to Friday, 2 weeks of dayshift & 2 weeks of afternoon shift (10 hour days)
To be successful the following is required:
- Previous leadership experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of component cleaning processes
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Previous use of safety and risk assessment tools such as Job Safety Analysis and Take 5's will guide you to success in this role
