KEY TASKS
- Perform duties as directed by the Head Chefs.
- Cutting, chopping, and preparing vegetables, seafood, and meats
- Preparing marinates, spice masala, sauces for entre and main meals.
- Sourcing, ordering, and checking delivery of stock and quality.
- Follow traditional Indian recipes and methods to prepare all items on the menu.
- Cook foods by boiling, frying, deep frying, baking in tandoor oven, steaming.
- Apportioning in serving dishes and garnishing
- Maintain food and labour costs as set in the budget and minimize wastage.
- Responsible for ensuring that the kitchen, plant, and equipment are maintained in a clean, presentable and safe condition
- Maintain safe temperatures of grills, ovens, and other cooking equipment.
- Ensure safety procedures are always followed, including immediately reporting repairs of any necessary equipment.

Pay: $73,150.00 – $75,000.00 per year
