Skills & Experience
Proven experience in a Chinese/Asian fast-paced kitchen;
Proven knowledge of food allergens;
Ability to work unsupervised and as a team;
Manage or assist managing the kitchen previously. (Advanced)
Familiar with deep fryer. (Advanced)
Basic Duties
·Cook food in a timely manner in a fast-paced kitchen;
·Responsible for preparation and cooking;
·Manage and monitor food stock and place orders;
·Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations withinthe kitchen area;
·Supervise and assist as needed;
·Ensure appealing plate presentation;
·Maintained cleanliness and tidiness in the kitchen and stockrooms;
·Teach new kitchen hands;
·Co-operate with all staff and management;
Advanced Duties:
·Ensuring food costs and wages are within budget
·Managing seasonal menu changes
·Conducting internal audits, addressing non-compliance orperformance issues, and enforcing stock management policies and procedures
·Overseeing end-to-end recruitment, performance management,training, development, and succession planning for the kitchen team
·Strong leadershipskills and problem-solving abilities.
·Able to establish andlead a tight-knit team
