About the role

What you'll be doing
- Manage and oversee all kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staffing
- Lead and inspire the kitchen team, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities
- Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with the management team to develop innovative seasonal menus and specials
- Maintain strict food safety and hygiene practices to comply with industry regulations
- Monitor inventory, order supplies, and manage the kitchen budget effectively
What we're looking for
- Significant experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef in a high-quality restaurant or hotel environment
- Proven track record of leading and motivating a kitchen team to deliver exceptional food quality and customer service
- Excellent culinary skills, with a deep understanding of various cooking techniques and food trends
- Strong attention to detail, organisational abilities, and problem-solving skills
- Passion for using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients to create imaginative and delectable dishes
- Formal culinary training or qualifications, such as a certificate or diploma in commercial cookery
