We are seeking a friendly and experienced receptionist to join our team at our stunning in Kangaroo Point. As a receptionist, you will be the face of our hotel, welcoming guests and ensuring they have an enjoyable stay.
About the Role:
This is a full-time position (5 days per week), including one day on the weekend. We are looking for someone who can commit to the role for a minimum of 12 months. The ideal candidate will have experience as a receptionist in a 4-5 star hotel environment and be able to provide exceptional customer service to our guests.
Core Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive
- Check guests in and out of the hotel
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails professionally
- Assist guests with inquiries and provide information about hotel services and amenities
- Make reservations and handle cancellations
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
- Prepare cleaners' roster and linen orders
- Perform basic repair and maintenance work as needed
- Maintain a clean and organised front desk area
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a receptionist in a 4-5 star hotel environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to think quickly and solve problems promptly
- Knowledge of hotel reservation systems and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic handyman skills to assist with minor repair and maintenance tasks
- Commitment to a minimum 12-month tenure
