Registered Nurse, Ballina NSW
We are seeking caring, dedicated, and experienced Registered Nurses to join our Residential Care team.
This is a varied role with opportunities to delve deeper into areas of interest ranging across aged care, including: dementia, wounds, palliative care etc.

The Opportunity
- Permanent part time and full time opportunities available for the right candidates
- Competitive base salary: the full time annual salary range is $87K - $110K AUD, dependent on experience, with applicable penalties and super on top
- Salary packaging (up to $18,550 per annum) resulting in less tax and higher take home pay
- Work within a rotating roster, enjoying the variety & associated penalties of AM, PM, and Night shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver rewarding person-centred and best practice care to our residents and clients
- Supervise staff in delivering care and non direct care services
- Participate in resident admissions and ongoing assessments
- Provide high quality palliative care as part of a multidisciplinary team, including collaborating with our visiting Palliative Care Specialist
- Maintain responsibility for medication management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and participate in telehealth and case conferencing to achieve positive health outcomes
- Maintain effective Infection Control practices
About You
- Bachelor of Nursing
- Current registration with APHRA
- Clinically savvy with a strong contemporary focus for the needs of an older person
- A passion for looking after Older People and commitment to providing a high standard of palliative and end of life care
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of staff and stakeholders
- Reliable, adaptable and accountable
- Ability to consistently act with humility, integrity, respect, understanding
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning
- Previous experience in Aged Care or other service industries are desirable, but not essential
