The opportunity
We are seeking qualified Maintenance and Mechanical Fitters, Electricians and Plumbers to become integral parts to diverse maintenance teams. These roles are critical in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of operations across various businesses, encompassing responsibilities in preventative maintenance, equipment repair, and continuous improvement
Key responsibilities
- Conduct regular maintenance inspections and identify technical issues
- Execute machinery modifications and fit custom-fabricated components
- Maintain hydraulic, pneumatic systems, and other crucial equipment
- Adhere to safety, quality, and environmental best practices
- Work collaboratively with teams across various departments
- Participate in training and development opportunities
About you
- Certification in Mechanical Engineering (Cert III or higher)
- Strong experience in mechanical fitting, ideally in a manufacturing, timber, agrifood, agricultural products, steel fabrication, engineering, energy or food processing environment;
- Excellent communication, time management, and multitasking skills
- A proactive learner, open to embracing new technologies
- Valid driver's license; additional certifications like forklift license preferred

Additional information
- Roles involve standard Monday to Friday schedules or shift work for 24 hour plants, with optional weekend and on-call duties
