Role Overview: As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you will inspect, maintain, and repair heavy vehicles, ensuring peak performance and reliability. Your hands-on work with modern trucks will directly impact our service quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy vehicles (engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems).
- Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance to meet safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.
- Collaborate with the transport team to schedule maintenance and prioritize repairs.
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices.

Requirements:
- Trade Qualification: Relevant qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology).
- Experience: 2-3 years as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic with hands-on experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Licensing and Certifications: Valid driver's license (preferably heavy vehicle endorsement); additional certifications like HR license are a plus.
