Looking for a chance to bring your knowledge and creativity to an environment where you’ll be truly valued? If you’re excited by the chance to shape pedagogy and practice in your room, we’d love to talk to you about which of our amazing opportunities would be the best fit for you.
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you’ll inspire a love of learning in children and foster their development through purposeful, intentional teaching practices that are delivered with creativity and energy. You will build meaningful relationships with families, so each child has a strong sense of belonging that supports them to thrive. Your love of teaching will be reflected in how you mentor and guide educational practices in your room, and in your work with the broader centre leadership team to develop, review, and implement high-quality early learning programs, to ensure you’re achieving optimal outcomes for children.
Our school has been an integral part of the Thorneside community for a decade, earning an excellent reputation in the area.
Here's a glimpse of what makes us exceptional:
- High-Quality Care: Our center is dedicated to providing high-quality care for children aged from six weeks to five years. We understand the importance of early learning in a child's life and are committed to nurturing their growth.
- Passionate Educators: Our educators are deeply passionate about early learning and are devoted to ensuring that each child feels welcomed and supported in our center. We work closely with local support services to provide ongoing assistance to our families.
- Learning Framework: All our rooms are thoughtfully set up in accordance with an Early Years Learning Framework, offering sensory and play-based learning opportunities. Colorful and stimulating environments encourage children to grow and develop while preparing them for the transition to school.
- Effective Communication: We prioritise open and clear communication with parents and families through our Storypark platform, family nights, and emailed newsletters. This enables us to tailor programs to each child's unique needs, interests, and strengths, as well as embrace the cultural diversity in our center.
- Outdoor Exploration: Our age-appropriate outdoor play spaces and equipment foster children's awareness of their surroundings and the environment's importance. They enjoy our wooden cubby house, bike track, and gardens, where they actively participate in caring for plants.
- Community Engagement: We highly value community involvement and offer a dedicated community room along with a community pantry, clothes, and toy swap. Through visits to the center and participation in various events and activities, we enrich the learning experience for our children.
- Dedicated Music Room: Our facility boasts a dedicated music room where children engage in small group music experiences, enhancing their creativity and love for music.
Our center is not just a child care center; it's a warm and enriching community where children can learn, explore, and thrive while embracing the values of diversity, sustainability, and quality early education. We would love for you to come and join our Team!
