We are now seeking two skilled and experienced Airconditioning and Refrigeration Mechanics to join our dynamic team in Darwin City.
Position Overview
As an Airconditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing air conditioning and refrigeration systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation & Maintenance: Install and maintain air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration systems in compliance with relevant standards and specifications.
- Diagnostics & Repairs: Troubleshoot and repair faults in HVAC and refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Testing & Commissioning: Conduct testing, commissioning, and performance assessments for newly installed or repaired systems.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work complies with Australian standards, workplace health and safety regulations, and company policies.
- Client Liaison: Provide exceptional customer service, including explaining system functionality and addressing client concerns.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and maintenance logs.
Skills & Experience Required
Qualification:
- Certificate III in Airconditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent qualification.
- Valid ARCTick Refrigerant Handling Licence.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing complex HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Familiarity with electrical systems related to air-conditioning and refrigeration.
Other Requirements:
- Valid Australian driver's licence or ability to obtain one.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
