The Role
- Studying drawings and specifications to determine suitable materials, method and sequence.
- Diagnosing faults and performing operational maintenance of machines and overhauling and repairing mechanical parts and fluid power equipment.
- Setting stops and other controls on machining tools, setting and prescribed cutting and shaping tools.
- Setting up and operating machines.
- Inspecting and testing machinery and equipment.
- Hand polishing and grinding.
- Interpreting templates and reading plans.
- Checking internal and external, horizontal and vertical joint alignment.
- Constructing wall from large masonry blocks. Cladding, pillars and walls with large stone slabs.
- Aligning veined material on external and internal facades.
