About the Role:
We are continually looking for enthusiastic and talented people to join our team.
Our company is currently seeking a People and Culture Business Partner. It is a permanent role that can be fulfilled either full-time or part-time (4 days per week), with flexibility around days of work and start/finish times.
Reporting to the Senior People and Culture Business Partner, this role will provide support to the P&C operational functions across the employee experience cycle ensuring alignment with business strategy.
Key responsibilities and activities include:
Talent Management and Recruitment:
• Partner with the business to support the end-to-end talent acquisition and recruitment process including development of position descriptions, advertising, screening candidates, interviews, pre-employment checks and drafting offers
Employee Relations:
• Provide advice to the business with general queries and requests throughout all components of the employee life cycle processes
• Coordinate global and local mobility assistance (including visa business sponsorship coordination)
• Assist with annual performance and salary review activities
Employee Engagement:
• Assist with employee engagement activities including coordination of the engagement and pulse surveys, preparation of presentations, coordination of focus groups and consolidation of actions
Performance Management:
• Provide guidance and support with performance management processes, ensuring it is fair, transparent, and aligned with culture and values as well as relevant legislation
• Provide coaching and support to relevant managers on effective performance management techniques
• Participate in formal performance management meetings and prepare all required guidance materials
• Provide resolution solutions for employees and informal and formal investigation complaints and policy breaches when required
Compliance & Risk Management:
• Monitor and mitigate P&C associated risks, including employee relations, legal compliance and workplace safety
• Provide advice and recommendations to the business to ensure P&C-related activities are compliant with relevant laws and regulations
• Assist the Senior People and Culture Business Partner to implement P&C and employee relations policies, procedures and practices to shape and reinforce a workplace performance culture which positions to meet future business strategies
Knowledge, Skill and Experience requirements include:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
• Proven generalist Human Resource experience essential (minimum of 5 years’ experience)
• Experienced in performance management processes
• Knowledge of relevant employment legislation
• High level interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Organised with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines, as well as handling confidential information with discretion
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
