Job Overview
The Operations Coordinator will oversee and manage all aspects of the operations, ensuring efficient workflows, high-quality output, and compliance with all relevant industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in both operational leadership and compliance management, including the ability to drive process improvements, with a high level of customer service. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operational activities to ensure seamless workflows and quality standards across multiple sites, including travel from site to site on a daily basis.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and ability to build and effectively maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and records.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Provide guidance and training to ensure all employees understand safety protocols, best practices, and operational procedures.
- Ensure that all operational processes adhere to relevant industry standards, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct regular spot checks and inspections of workplaces to ensure operational excellence is being maintained, and safety values are being upheld.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in operations management preferably in warehousing or container logistics.
- Relevant Qualification – Cert IV, Diploma, Masters etc.
- Proven experience managing compliance including knowledge of WHS.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
- Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have full driving license and car.
