About the role
We are seeking an experienced Chef/Cook to join our team. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for a talented culinary professional to contribute to the success of our established hospitality business.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing and cooking a variety of high-quality dishes according to our restaurant's menu and recipes
- Ensuring all food is presented to the highest standard and in a timely manner
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Collaborating with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and improve existing dishes
- Providing guidance and mentorship to junior kitchen staff
- Participating in inventory management and ordering of necessary supplies
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef/Cook in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Strong understanding of food preparation techniques, presentation, and menu planning
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- A passion for using fresh, high-quality ingredients to create delicious, innovative dishes
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment
- Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are preferred
