Note: Pay packages include full-time base salary, professional development leave (PDL), on-call allowance, and 11.5% superannuation. Classification and level will be determined based on your qualifications and experience.

About the Role: As a District Medical Officer, you will provide comprehensive medical and community health services to the local health campuses and remote communities. This includes emergency department work, ward-based care, and outreach clinics.
Non-clinical time will also be allocated. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including remote area nurses, nurse practitioners, allied health staff, and Aboriginal health workers. With access to resident specialists, telehealth, and the WACHS Command Centre for rapid care coordination, you will receive full support in providing high-level care.
In this role, you will collaborate with the Royal Flying Doctor Service, further honing your skills in patient retrieval and critical care.
