Position Profile: Provide a clinical consultancy service consistent with a Primary Health Care philosophy to clients, families, staff and other health professionals across the South West region, Promotes excellence in clinical standards and quality care. Demonstrates leadership and role modelling.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated credentialed diabetes educator status or commenced mentoring process and working towards this within 6 months of employment.
- Demonstrated extensive clinical experience and specialist knowledge in the area of diabetes.
- Demonstrated effective analytical, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated advanced interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills, and proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated knowledge of best practice principles and quality improvement activities.
