This is a Fixed Term Full Time appointment at 76 hours per fortnight with the possibility of extension/s.
Position Profile: The Clinical Nurse Manager is responsible for:
- Leading the health care team to provide safe and high quality evidenced based clinical care for patients and their families within the service area and within available resources.
- Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate accessible services for the South West community, including the provision of a nursing consultative services.
- Ensuring standards of nursing practice and implementing changes to clinical practice within service area.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and experience in the delivery of evidenced based nursing care incorporating quality and risk management within Emergency Department services.
- Demonstrated well developed clinical leadership skills including leading change.
- Demonstrated well developed skills to manage people, material, and environmental resources to achieve safe high quality consumer centered care.
- Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills including negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Demonstrated computer literacy with the ability to work with health information systems appropriate to Emergency Department services and the Windows Office suite of applications in everyday work practices.
