About the Role
This is an exciting permanent position for a talented Senior ServiceNow Developer where you will have the opportunity in designing and developing ServiceNow applications, maintaining the platform, and supporting all applications, including custom extensions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform ServiceNow development and support tasks, including triage, analysis, service restoration, request fulfilment, defect fixes, and enhancements per SLAs.
- Assist in designing technical solutions and supporting the preparation of platform-wide solutions.
- Manage and coordinate ServiceNow upgrades, releases, patches, and hotfixes across environments, ensuring adherence to SDLC best practices and audit requirements.
- Develop business rules, client scripts, UI actions, workflows, and catalogue items on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring compliance with best practices and maintaining version control.
Who we are looking for
We’re looking for people who will work closely with our scrum team, the ServiceNow Solutions group, and broader University teams to plan, architect, design, and develop complex ServiceNow applications, including integrations with diverse technologies.
You will also have:
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer with an appropriate tertiary qualification and/or equivalent mix of education/training and relevant experience.
- Comprehensive functional and technical expertise in the ServiceNow platform, with experience in delivering large-scale implementations.
- Proficiency in creating business rules, UI actions, form sections, notification events, and client scripts (JavaScript), including AngularJS, on the ServiceNow platform.
- Strong background in enterprise application development, covering analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, documentation, and support, with a solid understanding of the SDLC.
- In-depth knowledge of system design, Service-Oriented Architecture, and web service integrations, including XML, REST, SPML, SOAP, and HTML.
