This is a fixed term full time appointment at 76 hours per fortnight with the possibility of extension(s). The current end date for this contract is 26/06/2026.
Position Profile: As part of the multidisciplinary team, the primary responsibility of the Clinical Nurse (CN) is to manage, coordinate and deliver advanced nursing care to children, families & carers within the scope of practice of a Registered Nurse; using leadership, advanced nursing skills and knowledge relevant to the practice setting. The CN is a clinical resource for the Infant, Child, and Adolescent Mental Health Service (ICAMHS); and provides clinical supervision of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in Nursing, and students.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge, skills, and experience in the delivery of evidence-based nursing care within the relevant practice setting or speciality.
- Demonstrated well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, including team leadership and clinical escalation capability.
- Demonstrated experience in quality improvement and risk management to improve the experience for patients.
- Demonstrated digital capability to enable access and use of clinical systems which contribute to the provision of quality care and information availability.
