Our company is currently looking for experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead their talented kitchen team.
Salary: AUD 73.150 – AUD 90.000 per year

- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations while keeping the kitchen clean and organised.
- Guide and mentor junior kitchen staff, promoting a collaborative and positive working environment.
- Ensure strict adherence to health and hygiene standards, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen.
- Support food purchasing, inventory management, and cost control efforts, including effective wastage management.
List of responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the kitchen team as directed by the chef/owners, ensuring efficient and seamless operations.
- Design and develop menus that showcase the traditional and seasonal flavors of the region.
- Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes, consistently upholding high culinary standards.
- Support food purchasing, inventory management, and cost control efforts.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or an equivalent
- Minimum 3 years’ experience performing the role as a head chef and managing a kitchen team.
- Sound knowledge of HACCP food safety and hygiene procedures
- Proven leadership and team management experience, with the ability to train, mentor, and inspire kitchen staff.
- Strong background in menu planning, development, and execution, with a focus on innovative and seasonal dishes.

- Possession of a valid English language certificate is mandatory, with a minimum overall score of 5.5 and no individual component scoring below 5.0 on the IELTS test.
