Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough assessments of patients' physical health, considering their medical history, injuries, and current conditions.
- Develop tailored treatment plans focused on improving mobility, reducing pain, and fostering independence.
- Administer physiotherapy treatments, including manual therapy, prescribed exercises, therapeutic techniques, and injury prevention education.
- Monitor and document patient progress, revising treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal results.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated and holistic care approach.
- Comply with ethical and legal standards, safeguarding patient confidentiality and maintaining professional conduct.
- Stay updated on advancements in physiotherapy practices and techniques through continuous education and development.
Requirements:
- Visa sponsorship available for qualified onshore and offshore candidates.
- Open to Limited Registration Physiotherapists.
- A tertiary degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
- Preferred experience in home care or residential aged care settings.
- In-depth knowledge of physiotherapy principles, theories, and practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to relocate as needed.
- Ability to travel to client homes and aged care facilities.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transport.
- Current police check.
- Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations up to date.
