About the Role:
- Are you an experienced Registered Nurse with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and a passion for delivering high quality patient care?
- We are seeking applications from Registered Nurses with experience in Critical Care (ICU/HDU/CCU)
As a Registered Nurse (Critical Care), your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care
- Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care
- Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
- Led successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes
- Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
- Act as a role model for Safe Practice
About You:
- Minimum 2 years’ Registered Nursing in a Critical Care Environment (including ICU, CCU and HDU) with Australia Nursing practice
- Minimum 4 years’ Registered Nursing in a Critical Care Environment (including ICU, CCU and HDU) if International Nursing practice
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent.
- Post Graduate Certificate or working towards in ICU/CCU (Desirable)
- Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
- Advanced Life Support Certificate (or working towards)
- Advanced Life Support Certificate (or working towards)
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Working with Children check (willing to obtain)
- Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
- Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused
