About the Role
We are seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join their healthcare team in Mallacoota, Victoria. This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary package, including superannuation and penalty rates.
As an Enrolled Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). This role involves assisting with clinical care, monitoring patient conditions, and ensuring the well-being of residents in a supportive healthcare environment.
With our continued growth and expansion, we are looking to fill this role immediately and interviews starting from 17th March 2025.
What You'll Be Doing
Clinical Care & Patient Support
- Provide direct nursing care in line with patient care plans under the supervision of an RN.
- Administer medications (oral, topical, and injectables) following medication management protocols.
- Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration) and report significant changes.
- Assist with wound care, catheter care, mobility support, and daily living activities such as hygiene, eating, and dressing.
Patient Advocacy & Communication
- Act as a patient advocate, ensuring safe, high-quality care.
- Provide emotional support to patients and families, addressing any concerns regarding care.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with legal and organizational requirements.
- Report any changes in patient conditions to the RN or attending physician promptly.
- Ensure adherence to infection control practices and health & safety regulations.
Teamwork & Professional Development
- Work closely with Registered Nurses, physicians, and allied health professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
What We're Looking For
Experience & Qualifications
- Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA.
- Certificate IV in Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a healthcare, aged care, or community health setting (preferred).
- Experience in vaccination or pathology is an advantage.

- High attention to detail, particularly in documentation and patient monitoring.
Other Requirements
- Valid National Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transport (preferred for community visits).
- Open to any Australian Visa holder and currently onshore.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if required.
