Our valued client is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their team in Australia. They have full-time position available in Mallacoota, Victoria,.
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to their aged care residents and community clients. With their rapid growth and expansion, they are looking to fill this role immediately.
What you'll be doing
- Holistic assessments in partnership with residents and their representatives
- Development and evaluation of individualised resident care plans
- Supervise and support Personal Care Workers
- Clinical care including wound management, palliative care and medication management
- Liaison with medical and allied health care staff
- Positive resident experience through resident-centered approach
- You must be dedicated to working within the applicable quality standards, including the Aged Care Quality Standards and NDIS Practice Standards.
What we're looking for
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the AHPRA
- Holder of an Australian Visa and currently onshore
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an aged care, healthcare or similar setting with an ability to do Vaccination or Pathology
- Willingness to obtain National Police Check and holder of valid drivers licence
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based nursing practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to resident-centred care
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
