Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute a sophisticated pastry menu, reflecting contemporary trends and classic techniques
- Maintain the highest standards of quality and presentation in all pastry and dessert offerings
- Supervise and mentor Junior pastry chefs in the team, ensuring skills development and adherence to best practices
- Manage inventory and procurement of high-quality ingredients, with an emphasis on sustainability and ethical sourcing
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure a cohesive and exceptional dining experience.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a fine dining, high-end restaurant or 5 star hotel environment.
- A strong portfolio of sophisticated desserts and pastries, showcasing skill, creativity, and knowledge of current culinary trends.
- Culinary arts qualification, with a specialisation in pastry preferred.
- 5 years experience working as a pastry chef with at least 3 at CDP level
- Good level of english and the ability to pass the required English test for the visa
