Position Overview:
As a Civil Engineering Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting engineering projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, and contributing to the successful execution of our diverse portfolio of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Support and Documentation:
o Assist in developing and interpreting civil engineering plans, designs, and specifications.
o Prepare detailed drawings and documentation for construction projects.
o Conduct technical assessments, feasibility studies, and cost estimations.
o Maintain records of project details, progress, and compliance.
2. Fieldwork and Inspection:
o Conduct on-site inspections to monitor project progress and adherence to specifications.
o Collect and analyse data on-site for use in design and project planning.
o Identify potential issues during construction and report to the engineering team.
o Perform material testing and quality assurance checks.
3. Compliance and Standards:
o Ensure construction activities comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
o Assist in implementing and maintaining quality control procedures.
4. Communication and Coordination:
o Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project alignment.
o Respond to technical inquiries and provide support to stakeholders as required.
